Labor Day weekend: Join
in for a 1960"s music Sing a Long at the Red Barn Theater. Grab food
to go from our wonderful r restaurants, head to the Dunes
State Park, Oval Beach or just along the river at one of our great
riverside parks. Soak up the sun at Oval beach, swim in the 'Big
Lake' at the warmest time of the year! Rent a bike, kayak, or
canoe to explore the beauty of the area.
September 10-12 weekend is jam packed with
fun times: both towns will be celebrating the 'Coolest Small Town'
designation with music, parades and food galore everywhere to enjoy.
Start in the morning in Douglas running either the 5K or 15 K Mt.
Baldhead Challenge , Wine tasting on Center Street from 12-5 and
later Rock the Felt at the Felt Mansion with concerts every day.
September 18th & 19 Heritage Festival weekend
'The annual Clothes line Art Show
10-Noon. Get acquainted with the history of the Saugatuck
Douglas area by participating in a historic tour. Fund raising
raffle will offer really cool prizes including 'Dinner for Eight at
the Park House Inn' |
