The spirit of the Lumberman's' past will always be present, if you are a history buff, ask about Mooreville and the lumber milling operation in the early days of the Park House. Downtown Saugatuck and Douglas both offer shops, galleries and parks along the way to explore. No fast food restaurants, gas stations or the usual chain stores or restaurants. Every shop is unique and charming. Dine at one of the many restaurants in Saugatuck and Douglas, all with menu items to please every palate. Return to the Inn to relax, you can feel the stresses of the day fall away....Here at the Park House Inn breakfast can be enjoyed sharing conversation with other guests in the dining room or at intimate tables for two on the screened-in wrap-around porch during warmer months.
